Some MOCs I Like

What a crummy Monday… and thank goodness for a short week ahead (Wednesday is a public holiday in Singapore for Hari Raya Haji).
Quite a bonaza of MOCs that caught my eye. Enjoy…

This Halo Master Chief Helmet looks very much like what I see from the game. In Benny Brickster‘s description “it is made completely out of Lego except for the visor, which is a modified motorcycle helmet visor”. He seems to be keen on making an entire costume out of LEGO which makes me wonder how he’ll move in the costume without it breaking into pieces… or for the matter move around surrounded by a few kg of LEGO bricks…
One look at the thumbnail and I guessed this must be another entry in Castle Castle’s competition. Castle Hadrian is busboy489‘s entry in the “Realistic Castle” Category of CCCVIII.
Does Kosaka-10 mean anything to you? It doesn’t, but this creation by tkh reminds me of those ‘strange’ anime displays I see in some toy stores. By ‘strange’, I mean… erm… y’know, let’s move on…
You like flying blimps? I think I’ve a soft spot for them… Shamisenfred‘s “CONDOR” ostrichean smuggler is an example.
This Huge Persian Market by Brian Lyles looks fantastic. I know I don’t visit MOCpages enough and I certainly should more often with creations like this… do visit the page for more pics of the marketplace: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/235718. So… more POP sets anyone? 😛
Continuing the somewhat Asian theme, this gorgeous Kasbah at Deir-az-Zur by davekaleta is built for the “Swords and Sorcery” final round of the MOC Olympics at www.mocpages.com/group.php/12864.
This Homage to H.P.Lovecraft by Mr. Xenomurphy looks deliciously spooky… and twisted. I’m sure it’s intentional cos it’s in the 3rd round of the Dem Bones Haunted Halloween Contest for Haunted House. Again… great presentation here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/236388.
Haven’t had a nice piratey MOC for a while. Luke Watkins‘ Rocky Reef Hideout looks great. I really like the rickety bridges.
GYUTA continues his streak of transformable MOCs with this Transformer: Barricade. And another video below.
